Filip grew up on the Dobřany tatami — from a young pupil to a junior national representative. In 2024 he brought home bronze from the U18 Czech Championships in Brno (+90 kg), the club's most significant national medal.
He now returns to judo as a coach for younger categories. His approach is shaped by his own experience with the pressure of big tournaments — he knows what works and what children need to hear after their first defeat.
